Mad Hatter

This was an old incident when amy had just finished with her school.

Amy and best friend punnu were headed to BCity and that too a flight journey alone ( what i meant was un-supervised ) Punnu's parents had a conference in BCity, whom she was going to join. Amy was just fulfilling her set routine of visiting her grandparents just like how we used to read in tinkle and other comics.

Done with school. No more uniforms and what it represents - Restriction. Not a kid anymore. More freedom. Can try out more from the bounded behaviour set by parents. One offshoot of such idea was to bully some guy.

In the capital city Airport, they find a guy who appears to be a NRI ( for the reasons like he is wearing a cloth hat, which was not in fashion in India at that point of time :P ) Perfect bakra, their eyes gleamed. No need for communicating "Are you thinking what i am thinking???"  I dont think Amy was aware of the term adam teasing ( still it is not prohibited by law :P ) Apprehensive Punnu goes "may be we shouldnt"

"How does it matter? Do you think he would ever know who we are? Are we ever going to meet each other again? Come on lets seek some risk for a change" comes a confident answer. Followed by some comments like - "Dekha nahi videsh ki log apne aapko pardesi samajhne lagthe hain. Apne suit boot toh dekho. topi pehnane ki zaroorat hai bus" No need to explain whom it was passed on.

The gals were just warming up to have fun, there was announcement for boarding.

But Amy's wish for seeking some risk was so intense that even god wouldnt back off from granting it :P And fate would have had it, the seating was Amy, Punnu and ... THE NRI guy in the window, middle and aisle seats respectively. When probability theory fails - Murphy's theory kicks in. More omen of worse to come. The two were quiet as strangers!!! And didnt even dare to cross him and go get out to go to the loo in midst of the journey.

Once the plane lands in Bcity, they give out a loud sigh of relief. It couldnt have gotten worse! They let the guy go and waited till he disappeared in the crowd before getting out of their seat. Unlike the usual tendency to rush before the plane even comes to a halt.

Narrating and giggling about their experience while collecting the luggage that they see Cousin waiting. going up to her - "Hey i didnt know you were coming to pick me up. Thats is very sweet of you. Meet punnu my friend"

She replies "Actually I didnt know you were coming. But good that I met you as well. We would drop you on the way. Do you remember cousin Y he is coming back from US of A after his masters. So came to pick him up"

"Oh great I havent met him in ages, as I was in the north for years altogether. You wait for him and I would pick up punnu's luggage and come"

Amy walks up to punnu. After collecting all the luggage and were returning to leave, they see that its the same guy. Murphy's law in succession.
"Now what how do we avoid them?" When he aside, Amy runs to her cousin to convey that she would leave punnu in her hotel as she is alone and from there she would head back home. Hahha :P I would have loved to be there. The sadist in me would have been so happy. Some incidents do suggest that god still works for the underpriviledged :P

The Farewell

An ode to the 1 and half year spent here. Things changed. Enthusiasm and even the outlook. What people meant to amy. The priorities changed. Expected outcomes changed. :D In the end nothing mattered and it was good and to an extent practical education that Amy got. She is a changed person and we are loving it.

Most important of all, its just not her who these had happ. Everyone has had a paradigm shift, change in personality et all.

New people come, new (mis)adventures.

Cheers to life. Another phase starts. a bit of responsibilty and sophistication.

Keep smiling til she unleashes her clumsiness.
