I always wondered during meetings and conferences, watta blessed man he is, who created mute button. :)
As i claimed my expertise in keen analytical mind and blah blah... "How to ensure the mute button actually worked???" No need to mention what a disaster it would be if the line is not muted.
Its been a tough time for Amy's team.. ( yep amy is all grown up and started to work :P ) Late nights, endless meetings, non stop conference calls - perennial bombarment of knowledge being transfered from left ear to right ear.
After a point, they were just present physically and mentally too tired to understand. well that just gave them one more reason to FB, chat during these sessions. And they acquired a talent of mindlessly saying "yes" or no "we are good to go"
Just few minutes ago, note the time.. 2 am and on a friday night sunday early morning - training on material which amy made. do u think she would be interested :P If you peep into Amy's lappy - FB ( checking out notifications and chatting with 4 - 5 windows, the max allowable in fb without a scroll bar. considering the fact how much Amy hates scroll bars.), few mail boxes open, twitter ( only source of news during the long stretches ), gtalks, blogs, many work related mail chats, office communicators.
Amy's influence spreads faster than fire, the team was a notch higher. Needless to say - everyone was in same page :P
For a moment Amy beamed with pride that she was multitasking so well. Also saving the team from influence of trainings and KTs. This "next in line" guy gets up to bring beanbag ang gets comfy. But now that he is settled, and they all realise there is no one to say "Hmmm" "Yes" or any unmuted vocal nods :P
So he goes "Hey Amy, now u are the closest to the speaker, you better take over"
Amy: "what is the need to say needless things, the speaker also knows its his duty to talk. Haan yes bolne ki kya zaroorat hai"
She could hear her own voice with a lag. ' Is it what i think it is :| '
Rest is common across all blogs. Embarrassment. and feeling guilty :P
We all had a hearty laughs.
